After logging into your Student’s Union account, you can purchase a membership for the year by searching up LULS and adding a membership to your cart.

No! Everyone is welcome to join LULS whether they’re studying law, are planning on a conversion, or simply are interested in all things legal.

Membership of LULS is inclusive: members can enter our competitions, attend member-only and public events, and take part in our socials.

Unless there is a specific dress code, we only ask that you do not attend events in tracksuits or loungewear. This is to respect the society as well as any guests in attendance. If you are inappropriately dressed, you may be politely asked to change.

Whilst this is not a dedicated service we provide, our Committee and fellow Members are always happy to provide suggestions and advice based on our connections with firms and partners. We also help to signpost students to the relevant resources such as the University of Leicester’s Centre for Academic Achievement.

Around March, Student Union elections occur where Members can put themselves forward for positions within the society. However, we also offer three positions for First Year Representatives which will be chosen in October so keep on the look out if you’re joining us this year!
